We had a busy end of summer with a couple of exciting product updates, a new case study, and many new delighted customers.

We highlighted a couple of these updates below. As always, please reach out with any feedback or product requests.

Composer Case Study

We do not pick favorite customers, but are big fans of the team at Composer. Composer is a cutting-edge investment platform. They had been using a combination of tools to satisfy KYC requirements, but turned to Footprint to unify the experience in a more robust platform and boost their conversion.

With Footprint, the average time to exit manual review dropped dramatically from six hours to just nine minutes. And less than 4.5% of applicants end up in manual review.

Composer believes that when traffic flows through just Footprint, they double the rate of signup-to-funded.

Footprint streamlined the compliance workflow, assisting Composer’s CCO in preparing for FINRA reviews and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. All of Composer’s compliance processes are now run out of Footprint.

Custom Document Upload Settings

We want to give our customers the ability to collect and verify anything and everything from their users. We launched custom documents last month, letting customers collect everything from paystubs to utility bills.

We learned through customer interviews, that many of these custom documents are PDFs that live on their users’ computers. This month we shipped the ability for companies to select if they would like to collect the document via mobile upload or from the desktop.

Flutter Onboarding Components

We remain very excited about the flexibility that onboarding components offer our customers. Components act as invisible overlays on the input fields, allowing us to pick up on front-end risk signals like behavioral biometrics and device insights, while letting our customers control the entire user experience.

In August, we launched our onboarding components in yet another popular mobile development framework - Flutter. We now have support for Flutter, React and React native.

KYB Vault Editing

We have continued enhancing our KYB product. In August, we launched KYB vault editing. Our customers can now edit business information directly in the Footprint vault. Whether you need to update the DBA name, or submit an additional piece of information, you can do this directly in the Footprint dashboard.
